The Petting Pantry

The Petting Pantry is a monthly-ish event in Los Angeles, influenced by early 20th Vaudeville: featuring Roaring 20s Burlesque, Tin Pan Alley Tunes, Vaudevillian Sideshows and Silent “Flickers”!

We feature different acts and silents every month! House acts are Madame Pamita, Two-Bit Opera, The Amazingly Odious Ari and the Capable Miss Puddles and Prix de Beauté!

“Petting Pantry” is flapper slang for movie theater (according to “A Flappers Dictionary” from the July 1922 issue of Flapper Magazine). We show silent “flickers” after the live show and during intermission that aren’t often shown around town!

So, Cuddle-Cooties, get your best Tomato, hop in your cake basket and sputter on down to this petting party for a whangdoodle of a good time!
